My professional development journey has been incredibly rewarding during my time at the charter school! Every Friday afternoon, the amazing teachers at Desert Heights Charter Schools come together for professional development activities that truly inspire us. We dive into our newly implemented math curriculum, tackling head-on and celebrating what works well. Additionally, we hold engaging meetings to analyze our testing data, brainstorming exciting ideas to enhance our teaching and help our students truly absorb the information. Recently, we've been buzzing with enthusiasm over our reading intervention and reading tiers!

The collaboration we share in these professional development meetings showcases our unwavering dedication as teachers and administrators to our students and their families. We’re always focusing on our successes and exploring ways to elevate our skills even further. We've even taken small courses and passed tests to earn certificates that highlight our expertise in these key areas!
